Shipping & Returns
Patrick W Dyer Books and its shipping partner, Set in Hand Specialist Services Ltd, post only to the UK addresses and only accept payment in pounds sterling.
Delivery Charges:
UK Only: £3.50 + £1.00 for each additional item.
Method of Delivery:
Single book orders will be sent in secure packaging using Royal Mail’s small package rate.
Orders of 2 books or more will be sent via a courier service. Please note that such orders cannot be delivered to PO Box addresses.
Orders outside of the UK:
Patrick W Dyer books and its shipping partner do not offer worldwide shipping as standard, but on enquiry will investigate the costs on a case by case basis and advise where possible. Contact customer_support@patrickwdyerbooks.com
Orders delivered outside of the UK may be subject to local import duties and or taxes. The buyer will be responsible for paying any such charges and is advised to contact their local customs office prior to purchase to ascertain what the cost will be.
Alternatively, by special arrangement, EU and International customers can order via www.transportboek.nl which will avoid custom charges within the EU, and possibly other countries, and provide a more straight forward payment option.
Delivery timescale:
Patrick W Dyer books and its shipping partner aim to process orders within 48 hours of receiving payment whenever possible and will issue an email confirmation upon completion. Delivery to UK addresses should be made within 7 working days of completion in most cases. However, as Patrick W Dyer Books and its shipping partner have no control over the package once placed with the relevant third party, delivery could take longer and so please allow 28 days.
Worldwide shipping delivery timescales:
Nominally 4 weeks from completed payment but to be advised on a case by case basis.
Damaged books:
In the event of delivery of a damaged book or books, please notify customer_support@patrickwdyerbooks.com
Non-Delivery
Buyers must advise customer_support@patrickwdyerbooks.com of a non-delivery within 24 hours of the maximum 28 days from completion of the order or no claim can be considered.
Returns and Refunds:
If you are the consumer you have a legal right to cancel the order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations. Your right to cancel starts from the point of completion and ends 14 days after receipt of goods.
If a cancellation is required please advise customer_support@patrickwdyerbooks.com at the earliest opportunity.
The consumer has a duty of care for goods whilst in their possession and must return them to Patrick W Dyer Books at their own expense. Once received, Patrick W Dyer Books will refund the cost of goods and if damaged or not as described, the return postage.
